Travis’ practice focuses on Mergers & Acquisitions and Commercial Contracts; however, he has experience in a wide variety of corporate and securities law matters, including Debt Financing and Lending Transactions, Start-up, and Closely Held Business Matters, Corporate Governance, and Outside General Counsel Services.

Prior to joining Potts Blacklock Senterfitt, PLLC in 2022, Travis was in private practice at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP and later, his solo practice. Travis received his law degree with Honors from the University of Houston Law Center where he served as Editor in Chief of the Houston Law Review.

Prior to law school, Travis attended Baylor University where he received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration (focus on Accounting) and a Masters degree in Taxation. After graduating from Baylor, Travis spent over four years managing two small businesses (one industrial construction company and one product manufacturing and sales company), where he became well-acquainted with the day-to-day issues business owners and managers face.

Travis serves as an Advisory Board Member of Project Joy and Hope and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Houston Law Review.
